I can hardly believe with the bad drought we are in that I have something blooming. My angels trumpet bloomed today, with 5 blooms! They are gorgeous, but I'm not sure how long they will last with this heat we are having. A cloud did come over and we got about 20 drops of rain. I don't think that will help. Lots of neighboring towns are on watering restrictions now, but so far we are not. We are hoping that a tropical depression comes our way. We need it badly! Everything is drying up with this 100 plus heat and wind. But, there is still beauty if you look hard. Maybe my Angels Trumpet is telling me something.

It's absolutely gorgeous. Here in WI we've had more than our share of rain and cool temperatures. The weather is crazy this year. I hope a good day long soak comes your way soon. :)Bea
Beautiful flower!! I wouldn't mind a few degrees of your heat please, if you could just bottle it up and send it my way. So far we've only had about two weeks of what I would call 'summer' and today it's back to being chilly, with more rain on the way. I'll send you rain if you'll send me some heat?
It's beautiful. I have a purple flower that looks similar.
Hugs,Pat
What a gorgeous flower! Is it as large as it looks?
Actually what you see here is the very end of a tube which is about 4 inches long and the width which you see here is about 3 inches. It is a trumpet shapet bloom and this photo shows the end of the trumpet.
