This morning for Tea on Tuesdays
I am having
Tahitian Vanilla Hazelnut
(caffeine free)
by Yogi.
Visit Kimmie at
to join us for tea won't you.
I hear the cicadas singing their morning song...
I'm enjoying my morning tea.
As I'm drinking I notice all the information on the box.
Do you ever take the time to really read
all the info?
This one says...
-please recycle this box
-non-irradiated
-oxygen-bleached tea bags
-a product of Golden Temple of Oregon, LLC
Supplement Facts
Proprietary Blend of Herbs
Roasted Chicory Root
Carob Pod
Organic Cinnamon Bark
Organic Cardamom Seed
Organic Ginger Root
Stevia Leaf
Organic Clove Bud
Organic Black Pepper
Other Ingred.:
natural hazelnut flavor,
natural vanilla flavor,
natural butterscotch flavor,
natural cinnamon oil
On this small box there is much, much more interesting info,
yogi principles,
a yoga exercise for soothing energy,
directions on making the best cup of tea etc.
So take some time, if you haven't,
to slow down and read what info is on your tea box.
you may find it interesting....
I did.
I also wanted to show you
my little tea set,
I was about 6 years old when I got it,
so that makes it
over 50 years old.
This is all I have left,
as many pieces got broken,
in my many moves over the many years.
Oh yes, one more thing...
I got a surprise comment from Elizabeth
this morning.
I am being featured sometime today,
on
Altered Book Lover.
So go visit Bleubeard and Elizabeth here.
She has a wonderful blog
with all kinds of great posts
and tutorials.
See you later,
as I'll be out in the garden.
Hope you....
Savor the Day!
Yvonne

Happy tea day Yvonne, so nice to have you join the t party!! love your little set it is precious and even more so that you have just a partial set! well worn pieces are so loved! I will have to look for this tea, although I am not a fan of stevia, but I do love vanilla! xx's!
Hi Yvonne,
Your little tea set looks like it may have come from Japan. It may be very valuable. Well, as you said, it is 50 years old so that makes it a relic! LOL...Love your banner on this site...enchanting!
What a lovely tea set. Bet it has lots of memories as well!
Patty, yes there is a Mehendi drawing on the inside of the box and it is beautiful. I was wondering if anyone ever saw that on a Yogi box. You just never know what you may find, if you take the time. Thanks for visiting.
Thanks Cat. I had many a tea party using this little tea set. I used to have more set, but over the yeats they just got lost.
Hi Cheryl. Yes, the little tea set was made in Japan and I'm not sure of it's value. As for the photo in my header...I took that at a friends house. I love spirals!
Elle, I can't tell you how many times I had tea with my doll using this exact tea set. Thanks for dropping in.
I do not drink tea but I love anything with a lid....and I just love your tea set...I am sure it brings back some fond memories.
I always always read the tea box :)
Maybe it's a little like reading the cereal box when I was a kid :)
Love your tea today - and what a cool, well-loved tea set you have!!!
Have a beautiful day today and every day! Kimmie
Welcome to T! What an adorable tea set - a treasure indeed.
Love the tea, love the tea set, forgot completely about it being Tuesday or Tea day except I drank my tea, as usual. sigh....I think I have to wait until winter to join when things slow down. :)Bea
What a sweet tea set! Makes me wonder whatever happened to mine - it's disappeared over the years.
welcome to T Tuesday, Yvonne!!!
Thanks for dropping by... I love your tea set....it is indeed precious...
have a happy week!!
Such sweet words about me, and here I am late to the party. I am not a tea bag drinker, so have never had this tea. But my friend Joseph (who is visiting) drinks it and when I was in CA, I went through his recyclables, and found a box very similar. I used it in two spreads of an art project. Looks like I need to pick up a box of tea! Lovely post and thanks again for your sweet words. Happy T today.
What a beautiful rose tea cup...Tahiti sounds wonderful...I think I wold love to go there someday and sometime. Imagine and Live in peace, mary Helen Fernandez Stewart
