Tea Post---- Sisters of Many Kinds

Well, it's always fun to go,
but it's good to be home!

My sister Lanette
My mini vacation last week was filled
with  fragments, oddments and enchantments.
I will be sharing with you today
the beautiful views of my sisters place....
and for Tea on Tuesday
the lovely tea cup she gave me,
that has a little story behind it.

This is a view from my sisters front yard
looking at the Medina river flowing into
Medina Lake.
Turn a little bit to the right and you see more of the lake.

For T on Tuesday.......

I have a new tea cup!
WhooHoo!
Doesn't take much to get me excited I guess.
I love it!
Thanks Lanette!

My sister gave me a very pretty
blue and white handmade cup,
 from Poland.

I've been drinking my Yerba Mate tea out of it every morning.
This is the cups bottom markings below.

Bandera is where my sister lives
and their sister city gave Lanette some gifts.
She in turn gave me one of the cups,
just because I was admiring it.
She's so sweet!

This is the plaque in Bandera.
Does your town have a sister city?
I think the Sister City Project is just wonderful!

Welcome home from your vacation...I love this Polish pottery and I do have a couple serving bowls...but alas I do not have a lovely tea cup. Where would one find the is brave heart tea??? I know a few artists who could use it. Imagine and Live in Peace...little sister. Mary Helen Fernandez Stewart

BTW the Yerba Mate Pure Heart tea is from Sun Harvest or Whole Foods Market. They have a gourd you can get too that is traditionally used to drink the tea from. Really cool.

I so love that lovely Polish tea cup. That cobalt blue is MY color. Have always been drawn to the deep, dark blues. Your sisters home is so peaceful looking. It doesn't look like there's a drought there!

Yes, we have four sister cities. They are Orléans, France, Tlalnepantla and Cancun, both in Mexico, and Kaifeng, China. The one I would love to visit is Orléans. Thanks for this fun topic.
