Happy Tea Tuesday!
No, I'm not having the blues,
just the opposite really.
This morning at my computer,
I am enjoying
Pomegranate Oolong
by Harney and Sons
in my blue mug.
I added some dried blueberries
for a little extra flavor.
Try dehydrating some fresh blueberries.
It's one way of preserving the fresh taste.
Just throw them in an electric dehydrator
till they are leathery.
Much better than drying them in the oven BTW.
Visit http://www.harney.com/
to see all their wonderful blends of tea.
They are delicious on their own,
but I have fun adding things sometimes
to all my teas.
Try creating some blends of your own.
One of my easy favorites is...
Orange Cinnamon Tea Blend
1/4 pound Ceylon tea
4 tablespoons diced dried orange rind
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
Do you have a special tea blend of your own?
If so, I would love to hear about it.
More Blues.....

My DH bought me a blue ceramic pot water fountain.
Isn't it lovely!
The color is beautiful
and I love having water in the garden.
It's soothing to watch the water bubble up and spill
over the sides.
Hope the weather is warming up where you are!
Here it is 75+ every day
and I'm enjoying getting out in the garden.
I just planted some roses.

I've never thought of adding dried fruit to my teas, I must try that. And I always love finding out about new teas. Cobalt is one of my favorite colors, I think I'll have to search for a gorgeous blue tea cup now. It's my first "Tea on Tuesdays" so I'm stopping by to introduce myself and please stop by for a cup of tea with me if you get the chance.

You put anything cobalt blue in front of me and I'm in heaven. That fountain will be wonderful this summer in the garden.
I have never tried adding anything to tea. I may just have to experiment one of these days. Thanks for having me to tea today. You know me, I can't stay away from anything deep blue including that cup.
I feel the same way about cobalt blue. I love looking at anything that color. Great idea to add the fruit to the tea. I'm going to have to try it.
blue is my all time favorite color :)
I will definitely be adding the orange rind and cinnamon to some bush tea I bought recently. I just had to know what all the fuss was in Botswana about bush tea (lol) ..... it definitely needs Something!
you are an ever so lucky girl with your 75+ weather! but I won't complain ..... we have beautiful days too (coming soon)!
hugs, Kimmie
Hi Yvonne! I have never thought about dehydrating blueberries, I love them! Thanks for sharing your tea recipe.
Happy Tea-Day!

Totally love all the blue!! I have blue as an accent color in several of my rooms. Beautiful! Hope you had a wonderful day.
I use the heck out of my dehydrator too! Those blueberries are so damn good. A few years ago I swear I became genuinely addicted to dehydrated cranberries (and hazelnuts - but that's another story)
Yeah. I do love those blueberries... Now I have to go crunch some of those guys.
Xx,
A
oh. plus. I dig your fountain thing.
Hi Yvonne, thanks for dropping by for tea. Your Orange cinnamon tea sounds beautiful, will give it a try. I love your blue pot with the water bubbling out of it, I would love that some where here in my Australian garden to make me feel cool....I hate our Summers ,although this year has been very mild and we have even had decent falls of rain, hence our abundance of fruit. Happy Tuesday Tea to you.
oh what a great blend! now you have me thinking!! lovely blue tea post Yvonne!!
