Winter Texan quilt show

I attended another quilt show
the other day.
We have several RV parks here
and one of them has a
quilt show every year.
The winter Texans put on a great show.
There were 20 plus quilts showing this year
and these are some of my favorites.

They also have a program that many of them participate in.
It is called Threads of Love.
Threads of Love...is an organization that provides
hand crafted caskets and clothes and blankets etc. to families who have lost their
newborns and are in need of a little help.
This group has been doing this for the last ten years and provides
a wonderful service to the local hospital.
I salute them all.

Savor the Day!

What a wonderful gift from the human heart and hands...when one loses a child the world just spins out of control and the comfort of these loving people is remarkable. I do not know why but the third quilt just jumps off the pages. Have a great weekend and Imagine Peace, Mary Helen Fernandez Stewart

Mary Helen I think that third quilt was made from scraps from one of her other quilts. It was striking. Thanks for visiting.

Enjoyed seeing the gorgeous quilts and scrolled down to view your recipe for Vanilla beans. I have never made my own but keep wanting too. Perhaps your posting the recipe will help. Thanks so much.

What wonderful quilts! My eye is drawn to the second one most -- a glimpse into a lifestyle that seems so peaceful.

The first quilt is my absolute favorite! So cheerful! I love that the RV park has a quilt show. I'll bet there are a lot of midwesterners escaping all this snow in those RV parks!!!!
