Watercolor Value Study

This is a 5 by 7 inch watercolor
of leaves.
I usually don't paint this small,
but it started as a value study.
I guess it is now a finished painting.

The book we study from is
Watercolor Wisdom
by Jo Taylor

It's lovely! Watercolour is the most difficult of all media, I think. Hats off to you!

Love your header, and your watercolor leaves are very nice also.
I don't even attempt watercolor any more, as I just couldn't 'get it'.
South Texas,,,,we've just recently moved to far north Texas. Amazing, the differences between two places in the same (huge) state!
