I'm a few days late posting this,
as the blue moon showed it's pretty face
on the 20th of August this year.
I was out taking photos,
but the skies were a bit foggy.
The blue moon will have color
depending on the atmosphere.
A blue moon is a rare event,
the next one not appearing again
until 2015.
The song Blue Moon
was written in 1934,
and has been redone by many.
We seem to have a fascination with our lovely moon.
When I admire the wonders of a sunset or the beauty of the moon, my soul expands in the worship of the creator.

LOVE that shot through the branches!
Good for you on capturing the full blue moon. I stayed inside that night, and didn't see it from my window, though when I was out walking (without my camera) I spotted it, and it sure was huge.
