Wise old owl tea

The wise old owl sat on an oak,
the more he saw the less he spoke,
the less he spoke the more he heard,
why aren't we like that wise old bird?

We have a great horned owl who visits our backyard
quite often, and I spied him again this morning.

 Happy Tea on Tuesday everyone!
Since I haven't been able to photograph my local owl
when he visits, I thought I would show you
my new little snowy owl ornament I bought.
My DH and I will be putting up the tree tonight,
and he will be this years addition.
Isn't he cute!!!

I'm having Egyptian Mint green tea today by
Zhena's gypsy tea and I'm enjoying it
in my 'snowman with birds' mug I found last year
(while thrifting of course).

I hope you are having a good day.
We finally got some cooler weather again,
down to the 50's.  But still no rain for us here...
it got close, but never made it this far south.
Glad you stopped in, and to read more tea posts
visit Kimmie at
Kimmie also has lots of great creations in her Etsy shop.

Savor the Day!
Yvonne

I'm a bit early, but better early than late like I have been for the last few weeks. That is a really cute snowman mug and your latest Christmas ornament is adorable. It will be special to you for years to come.

I wish I could package the rains we have had during the last week or so...we had three inches just today.
You always enjoy exotic teas ...where would one find this Egyptian tea? Blessings to you, Mary Helen

Love your new snowy owl! The past few months I've been on an owl kick :)
What a sweet snowman mug, perfect for tea! I hope you get some rain soon, it's been a rough year with the drought.
Hope you had a grand time putting up your tree!

Hi Yvonne, your little owl ornament is very cute. Have fun putting up the tree. I haven't decided when or if I will put one up this year. I have Zhena's Coconut Chai. Yummy! Our weather is cooler -- it rains in the surrounding countries but we don't get much, if any, here. Hope your day is great. Tammy

Lucky you - I LOVE owls. Used to see a great horned where I lived in PA. Heard one here a few times, but haven't seen it.

Didn't make it for tea this week, but making the rounds now :)
I love your little owl, so fluffy. My tree is up, but waiting for my grandson (7), he asked to help decorate. It's prelit and looks pretty just the way it is, he'll be here in another week. I'm using my Christmas mugs now too :)
