Watercolor winter landscape

Although we do not have snow here,
except maybe once every 100 years,
as in 2004 (I think), when it snowed about 6 inches
on Christmas day.....
I am trying to learn how to paint snow,
and shadows.
I found this and tried to recreate it.
Still a lot to learn.

practice, practice, practice
paint, paint, paint

Savor the day!
Yvonne

Charles Russell would surely love your color choices. Until I lived in the Rockies, I had never seen pink and purple skies. I thought he just imagined them. A rare exhibition of his watercolors is coming to Texas.
