Exploring...

Do you like to explore?
I sure do.
When in Galveston we had the Gulf of Mexico in front of us,
and the Bay in back of us.
Very different beaches, birds and environment.
The bay side is wetlands,
but we found some little trails to follow in the Jeep.

My favorite bird was this white Ibis (about 2 ft. tall)
with his long curved beak.

The beach was covered with shells.

Take a walk and explore
wherever you go.
It's help you to...
Savor the Day!

DH and I are definitely wanderers. There's nothing we like better than striking off on some previously untraveled road and seeing where it leads.

Yvonne this looks like a wonderful way to spend the day at the beach. Did you bring home some special shells? That Ibis is a very unusual bird and I had no idea they were that large...we have tall skinny Blue Herons who live down on the Licking River. Thank you for sharing your relaxing days. Peace, Mary Helen Fernandez Stewart
