Barefoot...a simple pleasure

"... Barefoot, we're almost always at peace.
We're gentle and tolerant with our fellow man.
Stress and anxiety evaporate
and grief itself seems bearable
as long as our feet are free .....

"and forget not
that the Earth delights
to feel your bare feet
and the Winds
long to play with your hair"
~Kahlil Gilbran~

One more quote for you barefoot lovers....

"If I had my life to live over,
I would start barefoot earlier in the spring
and stay that way later in the fall.
I would go to more dances.
I would ride more merry-go-rounds.
I would pick more daisies."

that last poem is so true and yet I wish it would warm up more than anything here in the UK, it is so very cold still for this time of year even though the sun shines today!

What a totally serene post today...I grew up in Kentucky so going barefoot was second nature for me as a child. I am patiently waiting for green grass warm summer days. Mona Lisa says HI! Peace, Mary Helen Fernandez Stewart

Nothing feels better than grass under your tootsies. Except maybe nice sand on a beach.
