Tea happiness times 3...

I was trying to come up with a title for this
Tea on Tuesday post,
and thought of the words
'tea happiness'.
So I googled those words,
and what did appear,
a great tea blog called
Tea Happiness.
Go visit and tell her Yvonne sent you.

My own tea happiness today comes in the form of
a new tea I found, and what is on their web site.

What is unique about their site is that
they are looking for artists and musicians,
so you may want to check it out.

Another 'tea happiness'
comes from my sister Lanette.
She purchased a white blouse
with a white lace overlay,
at the thrift store.
She soon got a bad stain on it.
Her friend Vicki suggested
that she tea dye it.
So she did and is very pleased with the results.
Here is her tea dyed blouse.
You can't see the old stain at all.

Lanette told me she used about 10 black tea bags
and let it sit overnight, then rinsed with cold water.
She believes she will get even more use out it now.

Savor the Day!
Yvonne

Enjoy your tea. I'm having a cup right now. Great trick for transforming the blouse.

Tea! Is there nothing it can't do?

I love Peace coffee. I'd certainly love to try the tea as well. Will have to ask about it at the co-op.
So smart to tea dye the shirt! I discharge dyed a black t-shirt after getting a couple bleach spots on it. Nice to get longer use out of those items after a big oops!

I've never heard of Peace tea. I MUST check out their web site, though. I should take your sis's lead and tea dye a few white blouses I have been given by my friend after she gets too many stains on them. You are right. Tea takes care of everything.

Have a great Tea today, dear.

I love using tea as a fabric dye. I have a calico curtain in the kitchen hiding my cookbooks on a shelf. I dyed it with tea and it looks very prairie like. I think that's fun how you stumble upon cool blogs. I will go chek out "tea happiness!"

Happy Tuesday!
xoxo, kimmie
